As long as vocals are good live this will likely make the final but I see this staying on the right side of the scoreboard. This is the kind of song that goes unnoticed even on a radio airplay.
I doubt that I will pick up my phone and vote for it, no matter how good it will look on stage. It reminds me of Blue as well. Generic pop sound, nothing to make anyone too excited. May qualify only if he is good live. I bet the LED wall animation was completed before the song was. This is a good solid song, not a winner but should get Ireland a decent result if staged right, possibly mid table or top ten. This is good, but a bit mediocre imo. I could either love or hate this after listening to it more times lol.
Not great but not bad type of song. Only heard it once and I was humming the chorus — good entry from Ireland this year with a solid team behind it. If the performance is up to scratch it should reach the final with ease. After that….. Who knows? This is a solid solid entry. RTE done well to go this route. At least they will have a professional on stage and that is half the battle.

But Nicky Byrne is slightly more relevant and definitely much closer to his birth than either of those blasts from the past. On 12 May Byrne performed in the first half of the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest , but failed to qualify to the finals on 14 May. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
